1. What Claim Assist does
- Provides educational checklists, worksheets, and document lists for common programs in the US and Canada.
- Tracks the status of claims you choose to record (e.g. "submitted", "delayed", "approved").
- Helps you draft escalation and appeal letters using publicly available templates.
- Links you to official agency sources with last-verified dates and confidence labels.
2. What Claim Assist does not do
- It does not submit any claim, appeal, or document on your behalf.
- It does not certify, attest, or sign any claim on your behalf.
- It does not upload documents to government portals.
- It does not guarantee eligibility, payment amounts, processing time, or approval.
- It does not collect government IDs (SIN/SSN), government portal passwords, or banking credentials. Never enter those into Pivot Companion.
3. You stay in control
Pivot Companion provides claim preparation support, not legal, financial, tax, healthcare, or benefits advice. Final eligibility and payment decisions are made by the relevant agency. You complete and submit your claim on the official agency website. We help you prepare; we do not submit on your behalf.
4. Estimates are estimates
Where Pivot Companion shows estimated benefit values, processing times, or eligibility, those numbers are educational starting points based on publicly available program rules and the data you enter. Actual amounts and decisions are determined solely by the responsible agency. Always verify with the official source before relying on a figure.
