These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pivot Companion website and application (the "Service"), provided by Ozas-Pro Consulting Inc.("we", "us", "our"), operating under the product name Pivot Companion. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Pivot Companion is a recovery intelligence platform that helps displaced professionals stabilize finances, navigate support systems, identify evidence-backed strengths, and rebuild career momentum over the first 90 days after job loss. The Service provides decision support and information; it does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or definitive benefits-eligibility advice.
2. Merchant of Record
All paid subscriptions and purchases are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record for Pivot Companion. Paddle handles payment, billing, tax collection, invoicing, refunds, and chargebacks. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract underlying source code;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or evade access controls;
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit, including another person's data without consent;
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or harassing content;
- Misrepresent yourself when filing benefits claims or other applications.
5. Subscriptions, trials, and renewal
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your Settings or via the customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal recovery during the term of your subscription. You retain all rights in the personal content you submit (such as your journal entries, evidence, and Strength Map answers); you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if continued provision would create legal or security risk, or if your subscription lapses. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, benefit approvals, or specific financial results. Information about benefits, labor signals, and runway is provided as decision support and may be directional or estimated.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page and, where appropriate, by email or in-product notice.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ozas-Pro Consulting Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
